The problem
Thousands of high school delegates at regional and provincial business competitions frequently miss event schedules and struggle to navigate massive multi-hall convention centers.
The constraint
Cellular connectivity in dense convention centers is notoriously unreliable; the app had to cache schedules and venue maps locally so it remained fully functional offline.
What I built
An Expo React Native mobile app with offline SQLite schedule caching, interactive floor maps, and push notification triggers.
The outcome
Used by high school competitors across Ontario to stay on schedule during provincial competitions.
